Happy Hour @ Fig and Olive

Fig and Olive is a great happy hour place in Fashion Island.  I have had friends check it out mostly for sunday funday brunch but I thought it would be a fun place for a night out.

Food: This New York City restaurant, which prides itself on serving the best olive oils and cuisine from the Mediterranean region, is Newport Beach’s newest place to see and be seen. We only had the Crostini’s as they were on happy hour and easy to nibble on. They were so good loved every single one I tried. Good uniquie options. My favorite were the Fig Prosciutto, and the Truffle Mushroom. The drinks were also pretty unique I has the el matador and the sweet red pepper. Both were very good.

Price: Reasonable happy hour but expensive otherwise. In other words do not come hungry because the Crostini are small and that is all the food that is on happy hour.

Service: Great. No complaints. Attentive, friendly, and fairly fast.

Conclusion: Come here to shell out some serious dough on cocktails and snacks.his place puts the “small” in small plates but it is very good whatever you do get.
